Mission Statement
The mission of the Waxahachie Independent School District is to develop through a cooperative effort with home and community, well educated, responsible citizens who can excel in a complex world.

WISD students have the opportunity to gain an extra week of vacation May 28 - June 1 if they meet the following requirements:
  1. You must have less than 9 absences (3 tardies = 1 absence)
  2. You must pass all your courses on the semester grade report.
Registration for 2012-2013
Sophomore year is fast approaching! Registration for 2012-2013 will be held Wednesday, April 18 through Friday, April 20 during Professional Communication class or another elective.

Students will bring home a yellow registration form. It will need a parent signature. Please look through the Course Catalog and help your student choose next year's courses.
