Welcome to Wedgeworth!  I look forward to meeting new parents and students—and anticipate continuing friendships with our returning parents and students. We will provide a quality educational environment that will be challenging, fun, and productive, one that meets the needs of each student.  Please know that our students are our first priority—our primary business. 

I am very pleased to share with you that Wedgeworth Elementary has once again earned an EXEMPLARY rating from the state.  Congratulations to our students, faculty/staff and all of you for playing a part in achieving that goal.  I expect our success to continue and look forward to sharing this same message with you again.  Wedgeworth is talking about a “three-peat” and with everyone working together, it can certainly be accomplished!

We welcome conversation with all of you—call us, email us, visit us.  If visiting for lunch or have a scheduled conference, please remember to check in with the front office each time you enter the building—this allows us to provide a safe and secure school for our students.  Stay in contact with your child’s teacher and please read the information we send home in the Monday Folder—communication is a key in a strong relationship between parents and teachers; between parents and the entire school.
